Interpersonal Influence

Andrew J. DuBrin, a famous author, considers that interpersonal influence based on direct communication skills is the most common used technique, in order to become a true leader. The art of influencing peoples by using persuasion or a personal example is much cherished. This has a lot of potential particularly on long term, because it helps consolidating a powerful bond between the leader and his team of followers.

Build Trust

The main dynamic force that motivates and coordinates the organization is trust and the ability of succeeding must be also based on cooperation and understanding. A good leader should posses the ability of inspiring trust and support towards people, actions needed to complete the offered tasks.

Ethics and moral rules

G. A. Cole thinks that leading is a dynamic process that involves work-groups and the decisions are belonging to the leader for a predetermined period of time. That is why is so important to obey a set of moral and ethic rules. The leader is a social architect to build the team so he should create a social universe based on correctitude and transparency. In the end he will certainly benefit of several advantages if that policy is used. The people will be more confident in his ability of succeeding and proud to follow the purposes with ethics.

Influnece of personality

W. Bennis defines other 3 main characteristics that are defining an excellent leader: attention, confidence and open-mind. By completing the model, some theoreticians like Professor F. Fiedler from the University of Washington are convinced that personality plays a major contribution in the game of leading. In their opinion attention, confidence and open-mind are typically born -with attributes, influenced only by native personality.

Goal setting

Bill Cosby considered that the secret of success is unknown, but failure might appear when a leader is trying to negotiate with different sides. It's clear that a straight set of directions must be kept because changing sides might be unfavorable in the future. That is also true according to John P Kotter (in his book called "What Leaders really do") all the characteristics possessed by a leader should be melted with the primary objective, typical for a certain situation.


When those five attributes are united is very likely to obtain success but only if you really want that to happen, and you work hard in order to achieve the goals. Always remember that a leader's secret is to have no secrets at all.

War on terror 'vanishes from agenda'

There is intense speculation in the corridors of Washington over where foreign policy might head in the next four years.

But while Iraq and Iran may top the list, you hear almost no talk - at least at the moment - about Washington's "war on terror" against al-Qaeda.

After an election in which the fear of an attack hung over the campaign, there is now little discussion over whether the US is winning or what victory might look like.

While there is lots of talk about which countries the US should seek to press over terrorism, there is not much sign yet of a renewed focus on the ideological struggle or the kind of "imagination" called for by the 11 September commission.

Richard Clarke, the former White House counter-terrorism czar under both President Clinton and President Bush, has been an outspoken critic of the current administration since he left it.

He accuses the Bush administration of a lack of strategic thought.

"So much of the US government's attention is on Iraq that they are really not thinking conceptually about the war on terrorism," he told me.

"President Bush has conflated Iraq and the war on terrorism into one thing, and therefore when they're working on Iraq they think they're working on the war on terrorism - which of course they're not because it's a very different thing.

"The administration probably believes its own rhetoric when they say they've captured or killed three-quarters of al-Qaeda leaders, and that al-Qaeda's on the ropes," he says.

But Mr Clarke argues that such talk overlooks the possible rise of a new leadership - or of multiple, dispersed groups acting on their own.

"We're in a lull between the first al-Qaeda - which has been to some extent somewhat destroyed - and the second, which is I'm sure now building.

"People who are mad at the US for what we've done in Iraq and elsewhere are probably organising new networks we don't know about. But if that's true they'll probably be a lull between the time when the old al-Qaeda is destroyed and the new one appears."

But David Frum, a former speechwriter to President Bush says Mr Clarke's criticism is unfair.

He believes there will be some readjustments - but to a generally successful strategy.

"In many areas there are unflashy but important successes to report," he says. "There's the success in Libya. A lot of the component parts in the war on terror are not individually that dramatic, they're incremental.

"They are improvements. They are always imperfect, but I think you see a lot of progress. Obviously everyone here would like to see Osama Bin Laden's head on a spike in front of Congress, but that is not the only test."

'Lack of discussion'

But Mike Scheuer, a former head of the CIA's Bin Laden unit who resigned from the agency this month, says there is a dangerous lack of understanding in the United States about what motivates Bin Laden and those who support him.

"Bin Laden is attacking us because a specific set of US policies that have been in gear for 30 years and haven't been reviewed, haven't been debated, haven't been questioned," says Mr Scheuer, who has written two books anonymously criticising government policies.

He cited the apparently unquestioning US support for Israel; America's presence on the Arabian peninsula; and support for regimes perceived as oppressing Muslims and for Muslim "tyrannies".

Mr Scheuer doesn't necessarily argue for a change in policy but says there needs to be a greater awareness of the roots of the problem in order to appreciate the potential longevity of the threat.

"At the end of the day it may be decided by the democratic process that these policies are good for us and should remain unchanged... but the big difference would be that after the debate, the American people would be going into the future knowing they were faced with an extraordinarily long and bloody war to be fought because of those policies."

One problem for those pursuing the war on terror is that as the memory of the 11 September attacks begin to fade, questions begin to be asked about whether the threat may have diminished - or even whether it was exaggerated.

That is a concern for Cofer Black, who until this month was the State Department's counter-terrorism co-ordinator and who had previously served as director of the CIA's counter-terrorism centre.

He says the US has done well against al-Qaeda and its allies.

"We've had tremendous successes. The numbers are all good. Tactically the practitioners are doing very well but the threat is real - it is there," he told me in his last interview before leaving office.

"We are much safer, but we are not yet safe."

But, he says, those who work in counter-terrorism "are paranoid or haunted because all the terrorists have to do is be successful once and we have a cataclysmic disaster".

Many names and attributes of Allah have been mentioned in the Qur'an.

"He is Allah, besides whom there is no god. He has know­ledge of everything, whether perceptible or imperceptible. He is the Beneficent, the Merciful. He is Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, the Giver of peace, the Keeper of faith, the Supreme, the Mighty one, the All powerful and the Majestic. Exalted be He above what they associate with Him. He is Allah, the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner. His are the most beautiful names. All that is in the heavens and the earth gives glory to Him. He is the Mighty, the Wise". (Surah al‑Hashr, 59:22 ‑ 24).

The main feature of the names and the attributes of Allah has been mentioned in this verse. The highest degree of every virtue and every excellence belongs to Allah. For example, power and ability to do things is a good quality. Allah is the most powerful and the most efficient and can do anything.

The Qur'an says: "Surely Allah can do all things". (Surah al‑Ankabut, 29:20).

Knowledge is a virtue. Allah has the highest degree of knowledge. "Allah is aware of all things ". (Surah al‑Tawbah, 9:115).
"He is the Knower of the invisible and the visible. . . ". (Surah al‑R'ad, 13:9).
Sagacity is another virtue. The holy Qur'an says: "Allah is Knower, Wise" . (Surahal‑Mumtahanah, 60:10). Kindness to others is a good quality. Allah is "the Bene­ficent, the Merciful". "He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy". (Surah al‑Hamd, 1:3; Surah Yusuf, 12:64).
Hence you are at liberty to call Him by any of these most beautiful names: "Call Him Allah or Rahman (Beneficent).

It is the same whichever you call. His are the most beautiful names" . (Surahal‑Isra, 17:110). "Allah bas the beautiful names. Invoke Him by them, and keep away from those who prevent them. They shall soon be repaid for what they do ". (Surah al‑A'raf, 7:180).

Rasulullah Saw. bersabda: "Sesungguhnya di dalam surga terdapat satu pintu yang dinamakan pintu 'al-Rayan' yang hanya dimasuki oleh orang-orang yang berpuasa. Ditanyakan (oleh pintu tersebut): 'Di manakah orang-orang yang berpuasa?' Maka mereka pun masuk dari pintu tersebut. Setelah semua orang yang berpuasa memasukinya, pintu itu pun ditutup dan tak akan ada lagi yang masuk melaluinya." (HR. Muslim, dari Sahl Ibn Sa'd).

Dalam hadis tersebut Nabi Saw menerangkan keutamaan puasa dan kedudukan orang-orang yang berpuasa di sisi Allah.




Atas keikhlasan dan kesabaran mereka dalam menjalankan ibadah puasa-dengan menahan lapar dan dahaga, mengendalikan hawa nafsu dengan sekuat tenaga, maka Allah mengistimewakan mereka dengan memasukkan mereka ke dalam surga melalui pintu khusus yang bernama "Al-Rayyan". Kata ini berasal dari bentuk infinitif al-ray yang berarti pengairan, segar, dan juga pemandangan yang indah. Nama ini sesuai dengan keadaan orang-orang puasa yang menahan dirinya dari makan dan minum. Dan dahaga inilah yang lebih dominan dirasakan oleh orang yang sedang berpuasa dibanding rasa lapar. Zain Ibnu al-Munir mengatakan: "Rasulullah mengatakan pintu al-Rayyan ada 'di dalam surga' bukan mengatakan 'bagi surga/pintu surga', agar orang-orang merasa bahwa dalam pintu tersebut terdapat kenikmatan dan kenyamanan surgawi (kenikmatan di dalam kenikmatan). Maka hal ini akan menambah keinginan dan kerinduan kepadanya."

Hadis di atas diriwayatkan juga oleh al-Nasa'i dan Ibnu Khuzaimah, dari Sa' id Ibn 'Abdurrahman, dan yang lainnya. Dan dalam riwayat ini terdapat tambahan: "Barangsiapa yang memasukinya (memasuki pintu al-Rayyan), maka akan meminum darinya. Dan barangsiapa meminum darinya, maka tak akan dahaga selamanya". Hal itu merupakan penghormatan dari Allah, Sang Pemelihara Alam kepada orang-orang yang berpuasa. Juga merupakan balasan bagi mereka atas keikhlasan menjalankan ibadah. Telah dimaklumi bahwa Allah akan menanggung pahala orang-orang yang berpuasa, sebagaimana dalam sebuah hadis: "Puasa untuk-Ku, dan Akulah yang akan membalasnya."

Pahala dan balasan Allah bagi orang-orang yang berpuasa adalah penuh, besar, dan tiada terhitung. Ada pun masuknya orang-orang yang berpuasa melalui pintu al-Rayyan ini merupakan tambahan pahala dan penghormatan semata.

Benar, surga mempunyai banyak pintu, di antaranya pintu bagi orang-orang yang taat menjalankan salat, pintu bagi orang-orang yang giat berjihad, pintu bagi orang-orang yang ikhlas berpuasa-yaitu al-Rayyan sebagaimana telah kita bicarakan, dan di antaranya ada pintu khusus bagi orang-orang yang suka bersedekah.

Dari Abi Hurairah ra., Rasulullah saw. bersabda: "Barang siapa memberi nafkah isterinya di jalan Allah, maka akan dipanggil dari pintu surga, 'Wahai Hamba Allah! Ini adalah pintu kebaikan.' Barangsiapa termasuk ahli salat, maka akan dipanggil dari pintu al-Shalah. Barangsiapa termasuk ahli jihad, maka akan dipanggil dari pintu al-Jihad. Barangsiapa termasuk ahli puasa, maka akan dipanggil dari pintu al-Rayyan. Dan barangsiapa termasuk ahli sedekah, maka akan dipanggil dari pintu al-Shadaqah. Abu Bakar lantas berkata, 'Demi engkau dan ibuku (ummul mukminin), ya, Rasulullah! Apakah seseorang harus dipanggil dari pintu-pintu itu, dan adakah seseorang yang dipanggil dari pintu-pintu itu seluruhnya?' Rasulullah menjawab, 'Iya. Dan aku berharap semoga engkau termasuk dari mereka." (HR. al-Bukhari).

(Al Qadr Sura)

The Destiny Night (Lailatul-Qadr) is the night that Almighty Allah determines on it
for everyone all things which are supposed to happen next year.
The Angels and the Spirit, which are Archangels, descend to the earth and visit
Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his glad advent), saying whatever has determined
for the all.
Imam Baqer (Pbuh) stated:
Everyone who worships and prays all the Destiny Night (Qadr), will be forgiven although
his sins are as much as all the stars in the sky or as heavy as the mountains and all
the seas.
Imam Ali (Pbuh) martyred in Ramadhan Month, a month that Holy Quran was descended
in it.
If there was not Imamate of Imam Ali (Pbuh), God's speech and Prophetic Mission
would be deviated.
Our Inerrant Imams have also emphasized that the Destiny Night (Qadr) is on 19,21,23th
of the Holy Month of Ramadhan (or one of them) but because of some reasons, he has
not determined it.
The prayers and deeds on this Holy Night and also special attraction of the Prophet
(Pbuh&hf) and Inerrant Imams on these Holy Nights are another indications which prove
that the destiny Night is on these 3 nights.
The Holy Prophet (Pbuh&hf) on his famous sermon has stated:
….. this night is better than a thousand months.
The Qadr Nights are the most blessed nights which the Muslim life is honored by Glorified
Allah on them. There' s peace from beginning of this night to the end of it. It 's a Night of
Divine Peace, Lailatul-Qadr, revealing night of the Holy Quran, revealing all the Angels
unto Imam Mahdi, Quran and Prophet Mohammad' s Family (Pbut), so the holy sura of
Al Qadr also is a Valayat sura.

* actual - giving guidance or direction, as in the phrase "the emperor has provided satisfactory leadership"
* potential - the capacity or ability to lead, as in the phrase "she could have exercised effective leadership"; or in the concept "born to lead".

Leadership can have a formal aspect (as in most political or business leadership) or an informal one (as in most friendships). Speaking of "leadership" (the abstract term) rather than of "leading" (the action) usually implies that the entities doing the leading have some "leadership skills" or competencies. Several types of entities may provide or exhibit leadership, actual or potential, including:

* a person in the position or office of authority, such as a President [1]
* a person in a position or office associated with expertise, skill, or experience, such as a team leader, a ship's captain, a chief engineer, a chief, or a parent
* a group or person in the vanguard of some trend or movement, as in fashion trend-setters

Leadership can come from an individual, a collective group of leaders, or even from the disincarnate — if not mystical — characteristics of a celebrity figurehead (compare hero). Followers often endow the leader with status or prestige. A while back, I was browsing these newsgroups, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of CASH within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00 plus stamps! Even though the investment was a measly $6, I had three questions that needed to be answered before I could get involved in this sort of thing.
1. IS THIS REALLY LEGAL? I called a lawyer first. The lawyer was a little sceptical that I would actually make any CASH but he said it WAS LEGAL if I wanted to try it. I told him it sounded a lot like a chain letter but the details of the system (SEE BELOW) actually made it a legitimate legal business.



2. IS IT OK WITH THE POST OFFICE OR IS IT MAIL FRAUD? I called them: 1-800-725-2161 and they confirmed THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! (See 18, sections 1302 NS 1341 of Postal Lottery Laws). This clarifies the program of collecting names and addresses for a mailing list.
3. IS IT RIGHT? Well, everyone who sends me a buck has a good chance of getting A LOT of CASH ... a much better chance than buying a lottery ticket!!!

Google has a new program called AdSense. Here’s how it works:

* You create an account with Google.
* Google gives you a dab of HTML to put on your web pages.
* When someone visits your site, Google’s dab of HTML has their browser ask Google for some ads.
* Google analyzes the content of your pages and searches for relevant ads and returns them.
* Everytime someone clicks on an ad, Google pays you 50 cents (although this amount appears to be decreasing).



The social ramifications are sort of interesting. If you maintain a free site about $OBSCURETOPIC, you don’t have time to woo advertisers, take their money, run an advertising system, give them statistics and reports, etc. But you do have time to add a dab of HTML to the page and wait for Google to mail you a check.

The hope is that this will make it easier, and maybe even slightly profitable, to run these labor-of-love sites that add so much to the web. The hope is that even a small site could use the money they make to pay most of their bandwidth bills and maybe even have a little pocket change at the end.

Yesterday morning on my Google Weblog, I introduced a thing which shows you what ads Google thinks are relevant to your page.

In one day, from that one thing, I’ve made $100. That’s pretty crazy! I’m tempted to run some Google ads in the sidebar here, but they only allow once style and it’s awfully tacky looking.

I really hope Google allows style customization. People get paid per click, so they have no reason to do something that will make people less likely to click on their ads, and they can always yell at folks who find someway to abuse it.

Daftarkan blog Anda ke berbagai direktori blog (blog directory). Sedikitnya, daftarkan di tiga blog directory terbesar dan terpopuler, yaitu:

Dalam waktu tidak lama, mereka akan "bertamu balik" ke "rumah" atau blog Anda.

4. Aktivitas Posting

Usahakan sedikitnya satu kali posting setiap harinya. Posting yang teratur di blog, akan membuat tamu datang secara teratur juga.

5. Alamat Blog di Signature Email

Tulis alamat blog Anda di signature email (tanda tangan email). Sehingga setiap Anda menulis email ke pribadi atau ke milis, alamat blog Anda akan selalu muncul, dan "menggoda" orang untuk berkunjung. Mem-posting ringkasan tulisan di blog Anda ke milis juga akan sangat menggoda anggota milis untuk datang ke blog Anda. Teknik yang cukup ampuh dalam mempromosikan blog. Tapi cara ini tidak akan ampuh jika Anda tidak mengikuti dunia milis yang ramai.

Perlu diingat juga, akan lebih baik jika Anda menaruh permalink dari tulisan terakhir saja, bukan alamat blog secara global. Lumayan, teknik ini menjadi RSS reader buat orang lain.

7. Lewat Status Yahoo Messenger

Cara ini kurang efektif. Karena banyak juga yang malas jika status yang ditulis hanya alamat blog saja, tanpa kata-kata yang kurang menarik.

8. Lewat SMS

"Aku sudah nulis yang baru" begitu tulisannya. Hahaha ... ini seharusnya rahasia, tapi biarlah. Saya suka melakukan hal ini, promosi lewat SMS.

9. Lewat Kartu Nama

Kalau Anda cukup bermodal, bolehlah cara ini dipakai. Tapi perlu diingat, ini tak cukup menarik banyak orang untuk mengunjungi blog Anda, walaupun sudah puluhan kartu nama dicetak.

10. Lewat Ucapan

Nah, dalam hal ini, akan menjadi kesulitan jika alamat blog Anda banyak mengandung karakter huruf yang tidak jelas. Maka dari itu, pemilihan alamat blog adalah sangat penting. Jadi, selain jadi penulis blog, tentunya kita juga bisa menjadi tenaga marketing yang baik.

A. REGISTER :

Jika belum mempunyai account di BLOGGER.COM, Anda bisa mulai dari sini, yaitu cara mendaftar….

1. Create Your Blog Now
Buka browser window, buka situs blogger.com ( klik link di samping)

Pilih tombol yang terdapat tulisan CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW pada halaman web ( yang dilingkari pada gambar dibawah ).

2. Isi Formulir
Isilah form dengan lengkap, kemudian tekan CONTINUE ( yang dilingkari pada gambar )











3. Pilih Domain Blog

Isilah judul blog Anda kemudian isi form address blog ( URL ) untuk membuka blog Anda jika sudah selesai.
Sebagai contoh, saya membuat domain http://bantuanbelajar.blogspot.com, berarti di form ke dua diisi bantuanbelajar.
Pada form ke tiga, diisi code yang ada pada gambar atasnya (gambar berupa perpaduan angka dan huruf, yang diberi tanda kotak pada gambar ).
Kemudian CONTINUE ( yang dilingkari pada gambar )

4. Memilih Template

Pilih template yang Anda sukai. Template yang di sediakan adalah template standart pada Blogger.Com. Jika ingin mengganti bisa pada halaman admin Account Anda ( akan di bahas di belakang ).
Pilih template yang disuka dengan cara memberi tanda titik (.) pada bawah gambar template yang ada ( gambar yang dilingkari ), kemudian CONTINUE.

B. POSTING

Selamat, Anda sudah memiliki sebuah blog…..
Anda tinggal memulai untuk menulis di blog Anda….
[+] Setelah memilih template, maka Anda akan masuk ke halaman yang bertuliskan :
Your blog has been created!
Anda tinggal menekan tombol START POSTING ( yang dilingkari pada gambar )

[+] Jika Anda sudah memiliki account, Anda tinggal login saja di halaman depan.
Kemudian klik gambar + ( yang diberi tanda lingkaran ) untuk menulis posting-an baru.
Jika ingin membuat blog baru, tak perlu untuk register kembali, karena untuk membuat beberapa blog, cukup 1 account juga bisa, yaitu dengan cara menekan tombol CREATE A BLOG ( dalam gambar diberi tanda panah ).

[+] Mulailah mengisi posting-an Anda, mulai dari judul, juga isinya. Di atas tempat posting-an telah tersedia tool - tool untuk style tulisan, seperti text miring, atau tebal, dan sebagainya….

dalam code di atas, text tebal adalah lokasi file gambar berada.
Bagi yang mempunyai ID Yahoo bisa mendapatkan hosting gratis di Geocities untuk memasukkan file gambar ataupun file lainnya, tentunya dengan cara mendaftar lebih dahulu….
Hal ini bisa juga didapat di Google, atau di situs lainnya.
Untuk mengetahui lokasi file gambar di situs lain, Anda tinggal klik kanan pada gambar, pilih properties, dan keterangan gambar akan muncul, mulai dari ukuran, jenis juga letak gambar…
Ambil yang Address [URL], taruh dalam tag tadi….

Setelah posting-an selesai, tinggal mem-publish-kannya dengan menekan tombol PUBLISH POST seperti yang diberi lingkaran pada gambar di bawah.

*) Kemudian tekan tombol REPUBLISH ENTIRE BLOG, setelah itu tekan tombol REPUBLISH INDEX ONLY.

C. EDIT / ERASE POST
Jika ingin meng-edit atau menghapus postingan, pilih menu EDIT POST ( yang diberi lingkaran pada gambar )

Setelah di edit atau di hapus, ulangi langkah *) di atas.

D. TEMPLATE
Untuk mengganti template, atau menambahkan tool dalam blog, pilihlah menu TEMPLATE ( yang dilingkari pada gambar di bawah ). Di halaman tersebut akan terlihat code-code, tag HTML dari blog Anda. Cara mengganti template akan dibahas di lain waktu.

E. LIHAT HASIL
Di samping kanan menu TEMPLATE terdapat menu VIEW BLOG, klik kanan menu tersebut, pilih Open in New Window.
Dan hasilnya…….

Good Idea

Setelah saya pikir-pikir isi for my blog, selain about my self everyday i think to containt of my blog is about tips. saya berpikir untuk mengisi tips yang berbeda untuk setiap minggu. sehingga dalam seminggu tips yang diberikan masih saling berkait antara satu dengan yang lain as step by step. for all people or friends who want to search any tips you can see here. i hope one day I can be a good patner or friends for all people in the world.

Si uut bawel

namanya uthie dia itu orangnya bawel tapi mengemaskan. kemarin teman gw lanyo ngerjain dia melalui SMS gw sehingga dia menyebut ku basi. emang nya gw nasi.........!!!. UuT UUt emosimua hehehhe,,,,,,,,,,,,,ibifbaibf.
oh ya waktu itu juga awal masuk kuliah tepatnya tiga minggu yang lalu terdengar kabar bahwa gw datang kerumahnya, padahal tipu nih. yang lebih buruknya lagi masa gw dibilang nungguin dia di lapangan voli dekat rumahnya dan tidak berani datang kerumahnya langsung. malahan lewat SMS. tapi waktu itu si uUUt nya ngak datang.
jadi dia mikirnya yang waktu itu SMS dia adalah aku. padahal tididid<<<<<<.

ya sekian dulu salam untuk uti kalau dia baca ini, mudah-mudahan dia jangan marah soalnya aku khan KOMTINYA. soalnya dia itu ngak pernah manggil nama gw sebenarnya. pangilnya KOM... TI. alah Basi deh neng UUT.

sakit perut

saat ini pukul 23.50, aku masih saja mengakses internet. hal ini seperti biasanya tepatnya tiga hari yang lalu setelah menjadi member cyber IPB. namun pada saat ini saya kurang nyaman dalam berinternet coz perut saya sakit bangat.

untung ada lanyoman yang beli pasak bumi untuk aku minum jadi perut gw kurang deh sakitnya, tapi gw bete bangat soalnya dia mainya frenstermelulu.

Jika kita terlahir dengan kemampuan yang kurang terasah di bidang komunikasi, jangan khawatir karena banyak hal yang dapat kita lakukan. Cara termudah adalah dengan mencoba belajar terus bagaimana memberikan instruksi kepada orang lain untuk melakukan sesuatu. Jika apa yang dilakukan orang tersebut tidak sesuai dengan apa yang kita maksudkan, yang dikerjakan lain dengan yang diinstruksikan, ada dua kemungkinan yang telah terjadi. Pertama, instruksi kita tidak jelas atau ambigious (mengandung makna ganda). Kedua, orang tersebut yang kurang cerdas untuk mengerti perintah kita. Maka untuk menajamkan komunikasi yang efektif ini, kita perlu belajar bagaimana membuat setiap artikulasi kita jelas dan bermakna tunggal sehingga kesalahpahaman tidak akan terjadi.

TIPS

Sampaikanlah pesan atau perintah dengan makna tunggal. Artinya, bila ada lebih dari satu pesan yang ingin disampaikan, lakukanlah dengan memberi urut-urutan agar uraian menjadi lebih jelas, misalnya, mulai dengan urutan pertama, kedua, dst

sampai hari ini saya masih bergelut dengan http://www.google.com/adsense dalam hal untuk lebih mengerti apa itu adsense , bagaimana mengoperasikannya, mengoptimalkannya dan yang pasti memanfaatkannya untuk memperoleh $$$.sukar sih namun tetap smangat ooiii...! soalnya dengan kemampuan bahasa inggris yang masih minim saya dapat memanfaatkannya untuk lebih memahami adsense melalui menu helpnya. saya juga banyak mendapatkan informasi dari forum diskusi adsense,para adsenseeryang telah lebih dulu merasakan keuntugannya. sekali lagi saya ucapkan terima kasihnamun dari semua itu saya ingin sekali agar orang lain bisa meramaikan web blog ku ini, tapi karena masih tergolong baru dan belum sering surffing ke blog lain jadi masih sepi pengunjung.

Alexander The Great, atau yang lebih dikenal juga dengan nama Iskandar Zulkarnain, adalah raja Romawi yang sangat terkenal dengan kepemimpinannya.

Suatu waktu Alexander The Great memimpin pasukannya melintasi gurun pasir yang panas dan kering. Setelah hampir dua minggu berjalan, ia dan pasukannya kelelahan dan hampir mati karena kehausan. Tetapi Alexander tetap memimpin pasukannya untuk terus berjalan penuh semangat.

Pada siang yang terik, dua orang pasukannya datang menemui Alexander dengan membawa semangkuk air yang mereka ambil dari sebuah kolam air yang telah kerontang. Kolam air itu kering dan hanya ada sedikit air yang tidak akan cukup untuk memenuhi
kebutuhan seluruh pasukan. Melihat hal ini, Alexander membuang air itu ke gurun pasir.

Sang Raja berkata, “Tidak ada gunanya bagi seseorang untuk minum di saat banyak orang sedang kehausan!”

Pernahkah kita terpikir mengapa pita film yang umum kita kenal untuk mencuci gambar-gambar yang kita inginkan dikenal dengan film negatif. Mungkin karena kita hanya melihat bayangan hitam gelap dan kelabu di sana. Namun, bila kita bersedia mencuci dan mencetaknya dengan baik, kita akan dapati nuansa indah penuh warna-warni sebagaimana yang kita harapkan. Demikian halnya dengan gambaran pikiran negatif; pikiran yang hanya merekam gambar kelam dari setiap kejadian. Kita takkan mendapati warna-warni kehidupan, karena cahaya ditangkap sebagai kegelapan. Untuk itulah, mengapa kita disarankan untuk selalu melihat segala sesuatunya dengan kacamata positif.
Tatapan yang memandang cahaya sebagai cahaya, kebaikan sebagai kebaikan, keindahan sebagai keindahan, kebahgiaan dipandang dengan kebahagiaan. Tanpa cahaya, kita tak dapat melihat apa-apa. Setelah terkumpul minimal $100 baru Google akan mengirimkan $ Anda dalam bentuk cek ke alamat yng Anda isi sewaktu mendaftar. Kalau belum sampe $100 maka akan di akumulasikan dengan pendapatan anda pada bulan berikutnya.
Iklan yang muncul di website tidak bisa kita pilih, jadi sudah otomatis, isitilahnya contextual ads, artinya iklan yg muncul akan selalu sesuai dengan isi halaman web Anda. Misalnya anda bikin web tentang furniture, maka otomatis iklan yg muncul adalah iklan yg berhubungan dengan furniture juga. jadi yg perlu anda tentukan adalah web yg akan Anda bikin berhubungan dengan apa dan isinya apa.

Saya pengen ikutan, mulai dari mana dulu? Tentu saja harus punya website/blog dulu, yg belum pengen punya domain dan hosting sendiri bisa juga bikin blog gratisan di blogger.com, nantinya Anda akan mendapatkaan sub domain dari blogger, misalnya namanda.blogspot.com . bahkan kalo udah punya account di blogger, Anda bisa langsung daftar Adsense dari account blogger Anda.

* Melepaskan emosi negatif
Ketrampilan ini berkaitan dengan kemampuan Anda untuk memahami dampak dari emosi negatif terhadap diri Anda. Sebagai contoh keinginan untuk memperbaiki situasi ataupun memenuhi target pekerjaan yang membuat Anda mudah marah ataupun frustasi seringkali justru merusak hubungan Anda dengan bawahan maupun atasan serta dapat menyebabkan stres. Manusia adalah makhluk emosional. Semua hubungan sebagian besar dibangun atas dasar emosi yang muncul dari interaksi antar manusia.

Ketrampilan mengelola emosi orang lain merupakan kemampuan yang dahsyat jika kita dapat mengoptimalkannya. Sehingga kita mampu membangun hubungan antar pribadi yang kokoh dan berkelanjutan. Dalam dunia industri hubungan antar korporasi atau organisasi sebenarnya dibangun atas hubungan antar individu. Semakin tinggi kemampuan individu dalam organisasi untuk mengelola emosi orang lain.

* Memotivasi orang lain
Ketrampilan memotivasi orang lain adalah kelanjutan dari ketrampilan mengenali dan mengelola emosi orang lain. Ketrampilan ini adalah bentuk lain dari kemampuan kepemimpinan, yaitu kemampuan menginspirasi, mempengaruhi dan memotivasi orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Hal ini erat kaitannya dengan kemampuan membangun kerja sama tim yang tangguh dan andal.


Jadi, sesungguhnya ketujuh ketrampilan ini merupakan langkah-langkah yang berurutan. Anda tidak dapat memotivasi diri sendiri kalau Anda tidak dapat mengenali dan mengelola emosi diri sendiri. Setelah Anda memiliki kemampuan dalam memotivasi diri, barulah kita dapat memotivasi orang lain.

Kecerdasan emosi atau istilah kerennya Emotional Intelligence (EI) adalah kemampuan untuk mengerti dan mengendalikan emosi. Termasuk di dalamnya kemampuan untuk membina hubungan dengan orang lain di sekitarnya.

EI ini tidak saling bertabrakan dengan IQ karena memang punya wilayah ‘kekuasaan’ yang berbeda.

IQ umumnya berhubungan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analitis, dan diasosiasikan dengan otak kiri. Sementara, EI lebih banyak berhubungan dengan perasaan dan emosi (otak kanan).

Kalau kita ingin mendapatkan tingkah laku yang cerdas maka kemampuan emosi juga harus diasah. Karena untuk dapat berhubungan dengan orang lain secara baik kita memerlukan kemampuan untuk mengerti dan mengendalikan emosi diri dan orang lain secara baik. Di sinilah fungsi dari kecerdasan emosi.

EI bukan bakat lho, tapi aspek emosi di dalam diri kita yang bisa dikembangkan dan dilatih. Jadi setiap orang sudah dianugerahi oleh Tuhan kecerdasan emosi. Tinggal sejauh mana pengembangannya, itu tergantung kemauan kita sendiri.

Satu yang pasti, EI kita akan terbentuk dengan baik apabila dilatih dan dikembangkan secara intensif dengan cara, metode dan waktu yang tepat.

Ada lima wilayah utama dalam EI, yakni : mengenali emosi diri, mengendalikan emosi diri, memotivasi diri, mengenali emosi orang lain dan membina hubungan dengan orang lain. EI yang baik akan mampu memaksimalkan prestasi kita. Kita bisa bekerja efektif dalam sebuah tim, bisa mengenali dan mengendalikan emosinya sendiri dan orang lain dengan tepat. Hari tanpa kuliah

Today is gooday. kata itu yang seharusnya kita ucapkan setiap hari. itu dapat membuat saraf-saraf di otak kita merespon hari ini menjadi hari yang sangat istimewa. itulah yang saat ini sedang saya rasakan. walaupun sudah jelang three weeks in my campus, tapi belum juga ada kuliah yang aktif. SAMAPI PAGI INI pun kuliah belum ada. mana bayarannya mahal lagi dan dengar-dengar harga SPP mau dinaikan. namun dalam pikiranku selalu berpikir positif (TODAY IS GOODDAY. i think why this time not to do somethink, ex:ngenet,lihat bazar or ect.
setelah pikir2 dari pada bengong mendingan posting blog aja,mumpung gratis. bergegaslah saya ke LSI (perpustakaan umum di IPB)for operation of free internet.that's good idea.

To set it up, jump to blogger.mailToBlog and run the install script. It installs a background thread, a script contained in the same table called checkMail. That script runs once a minute, and checks the mailbox you specify in user.blogger.mailPosting, which the install script opens.

In user.blogger.mailPosting, enter a mail address that you want to use only for blog posting. Do not use your normal mail account because the script will discard any email that is not destined for your blog. Be forewarned. Create a new mail account for this purpose.

You may want to change secretSubject to something like "blogger" -- in order for a mail message to be routed to your blog it must have this subject. Finally, set enabled to true. If you ever want to disable this feature, just turn the boolean off, by setting it to false.

This function also supports callbacks. You can run a script when a blog post arrives by placing it in user.blogger.callbacks.mailToBlog. HAVE A BLOG
In 1989 one of the main objectives of the WWW was to be a space for sharing information. It seemed evident that it should be a space in which anyone could be creative, to which anyone could contribute. The first browser was actually a browser/editor, which allowed one to edit any page, and save it back to the web if one had access rights.

Strangely enough, the web took off very much as a publishing medium, in which people edited offline. Bizarely, they were prepared to edit the funny angle brackets of HTML source, and didn't demand a what you see is what you get editor. WWW was soon full of lots of interesting stuff, but not a space for communal design, for discource through communal authorship.

Now in 2005, we have blogs and wikis, and the fact that they are so popular makes me feel I wasn't crazy to think people needed a creative space. In the mean time, I have had the luxury of having a web site which I have write access, and I've used tools like Amaya and Nvu which allow direct editing of web pages. With these, I haven't felt the urge to blog with blogging tools. Effectively my blog has been the Design Issues series of technical articles.

That said, it is nice to have a machine to the administrative work of handling the navigation bars and comment buttons and so on, and it is nice to edit in a mode in which you can to limited damage to the site. So I am going to try this blog thing using blog tools. So this is for all the people who have been saying I ought to have a blog.
